More than 200 local children benefit from nonprofit’s annual Christmas toy distribution event sponsored by Foster Families Alliance of NC at Harvest Baptist Church

More than 200 area children received some early Christmas joy Saturday during a toy distribution event sponsored by Foster Families Alliance of NC at Harvest Baptist Church.Christy Roessler, an advocate for foster and adoptive families, said local volunteers helped the nonprofit wrap more than 600 donated presents Friday night for Saturday’s event.
